Allison Hawthorne
Laboratory Manager
Allison graduated with a B.App.Sc - Coastal Management from SCU in 1992 and has been employed at RWL for 6 years. Allison has expertise in conducting laboratory audits and is our quality assurance officer. Allison has 15 years experience in environmental analyses, is proficient in all of the analyses conducted at RWL and has been a NATA signatory for 4 years.
Sarah Judkins
Scientific Officer
Sarah graduated with a B.App.Sc – Environmental Resource Management from SCU in 2001 and has been employed at RWL for 2 years. Sarah is proficient in all of the analyses conducted at RWL, particularly in the operation of ICPOES. Sarah has previously worked at the NSW DPI as a customer services officer/laboratory technician and at Diagnostic Laboratories in Auckland.
Michael Rowe
Technical Officer
Michael is completing a Certificate IV in Laboratory Operations and has been employed at RWL for 5 years as our sample collection officer. Michael is proficient in the collection of samples from bores, potable reticulation systems, sewage treatment plants, rivers and water supply dams as well as the calibration of field equipment. Michael is also proficient in most of the analyses conducted in the laboratory.
